Elizabeth offers classes for people looking to explore their creative vision without direction. Just begin painting and ALLOW the painting to speak to you, tell you where to go. It's not about the outcome. It's about trusting the creative process. So dive in!

SPRING: INTRODUCING THE INTERPRETIVE PORTRAIT!!

Have fun in a supportive environment where you can create visual portraits that combine observation, simplification and personal interpretation. Starting with a general introduction of face proportions, students are encouraged to work off personal photographs of yourself, family or friends and be able to explore your own unique perspective on the subject. This is a mixed media class where you are free to explore with a variety of mixed mediums such as charcoal, pastel, watercolor and mixed media. The goal of this class is to walk away with a colorful portfolio of portraits.
