MOODY ME WORKSHOPS:

Private Studio ~ Cuernavaca Location

THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO MOVE INTO YOUR THOUGHTS AND CREATIVE SPIRIT WHILE DEVELOPING AN ON-GOING DIALOGUE WITH SELF. JOIN US AND BEGIN CREATING YOUR AUTHENTIC, VISUAL, POETIC JOURNAL OF YOUR LIFE!!

ART AND WRITING WORKSHOP: Elizabeth Decker, presents Moody Me, a non-traditional art and writing class, that invites people to explore, identify, share and embrace their unique creative selves, artistically, with style and a whole lot of fun! Elizabeth encourages people to tap into their emotional selves beginning first with deep breathing exercises to clear "the noise of the day" and then "non- thinking" writing exercises, which she finds always uncovers the truth of the moment. From there, she will help you illustrate your thoughts and ideas so that in the end, you will be on your way to creating a visual, poetic and honest story, the story of you.

Our Past Event Flew Off To A Great Start! This is what one person had to say: "Thank you so much for offering the class, “Fearless Painting.” It was exactly what I hoped for and needed to get beyond my fears of painting “outside the box,” of loosening up, and of going BIG. Your supportive and vivacious encouragement spurred the class on to greater daring! If you offer another Fearless Painting, I’d love to attend!

Could be a cool idea for date night...just saying.

Praise for The Melancholy Girls: "I love the art work--it's so simple, almost primitive and childlike, but also so gloomily evocative. I also found the writing to be totally engaging as well--unpredictable, insightful, direct. It's also, most impressively, extremely honest." Eric Wilson, Author, Against Happiness: In Praise of Melancholy, (Farrar, Straus & Giroux). Elizabeth's also featured in the September 2008 Issue of AUSTIN WOMAN MAGAZINE (p. 18 & 19), The Westlake Picayune, Dec. 3, 2009 & Feb. 10, 2010, Ujima Magazine, Feb. 2010 and Hang Proud.com.
