The best way to explain what I do and how I create was voiced insightfully by a friend who said, "It's a week inside Elizabeth's head". I thought that was very accurate! Whether it's a week or a month, I create my art from a series of emotions that can begin by listening to a certain song; a conversation I may or may not be involved in; a piece on the news; a relationship; any number of colors; a night out; people.... It is my never ending thought process to be able to make sense of all that is around me. My art allows me the permission to explore where I am in the moment and I never once think about the outcome or what I'm doing. I just know I'm done when I'm done. There's nothing left to create when I no longer feel emotionally pulled. In other words, it's all been worked out. I kind of feel that way about my life too...

Take a look. Enjoy. And if you FEEL like it, go ahead and create something going on in your head, your life or your world.
